FAQ
Frequently asked questions on employment law
How is compensation for unfair dismissal calculated in Morocco?

What is the time limit for taking legal action against an employer in Morocco?
Claims arising from the employment contract are time-barred after two years (art. 395 of the Labour Code). An attempt at conciliation before the labour inspectorate is possible but not mandatory before bringing the case to the labour section of the Court of First Instance.
